The Doubletree Resort by Hilton Costa Rica – Central Pacific was acquired by CPG Real Estate as part of the CREOF fund and was fully repositioned and rebranded. As part of its acquisition strategy, CPG Real Estate fully renovated and converted the hotel into an all-inclusive Doubletree by Hilton Resort. As part of the repositioning and re-branding, CPG Real Estate completed a renovation of all 402 rooms, all common areas, including the lobby and arrival area, and all the restaurants. In 2012, CPG Real Estate commenced a highly-successful vacation ownership program by converting some of the existing inventory of the resort to timeshare. CPG Real Estate exited its investment in the property in 2018.
