CPG has a long history of private equity and debt investments across a range of property types in the target region, including retail, office, industrial, hospitality and residential projects. We focus on income-producing assets, selective development opportunities, distressed debt and other special situations within the major metropolitan areas or most desirable resort destinations in Latin America, the Caribbean and the United States. Over the past 15 years, we have been the most active institutional real estate investor in the region, sponsoring deals with aggregate equity commitments in excess of $1.0 billion.

CPG seeks to produce excellent risk-adjusted returns through its value-driven investing approach and entrepreneurial perspective to transactions and markets. CPG has developed a reputation for its ability to identify opportunities where high-quality assets with strong underlying fundamentals could be attractively purchased due to a lack of market transparency, complexity of the analysis or structure, inadequate capitalization or asset management inefficiencies. Our extensive relationships allow us to source off-market and privately negotiated deals directly from owners and lenders. We favor deals that generate strong current cash flow and are purchased at a substantial discount to replacement costs as well as selective development opportunities with marquee regional developers where significant supply and demand imbalances exist or are extensions to existing inventory.

Every major real estate function is provided in-house or through a proprietary network of strategic partners.
